Deposits
For natural gas service connection, the Authority may require a deposit based on connected gas load, credit worthiness or other factors. For most customers, the initial deposit schedule is shown below:
Inital Deposit Range
$0 - $200.00
Deposits are refundable after eighteen (18) months of good credit history. If the Customer has account history with the Authority, that history may be used to determine the deposit amount. Deposits may be billed to existing customers who do not maintain good credit status. Maximum deposits equal to the two highest months of gas consumption may be charged if credit history warrants such a deposit.
Service Origination Fee
A non-refundable service origination fee of $25.00 is applicable.
Tap Fee
A Tap Fee of $175.00 is applicable for services requiring 1” diameter pipe or less
A Tap Fee of $250.00 is applicable for services requiring 2” diameter pipe or greater
Service Line Fees
Aid-In-Construction (AIC) for 1” service lines - $6.00/ft
Aid-In-Construction (AIC) for 2” service lines – Quote Required
Aid-In-Construction (AIC) for 4” service lines – Quote Required
Directional bores, if required, are quoted

The due date for bill payment is 5:00 p.m. on the date shown on the statement. If payment is not received, a late charge is added.
If a bill is not paid by 5:00 p.m. on the date shown on the Service Termination Notice, the service may be terminated and a disconnect charge of $75.00 will be added to the customer’s account. If the service remains terminated for more than 60 days, a reconnection fee of $35.00 is added.
