Deposits
For natural gas service connection, the Authority may require a deposit based on the credit worthiness of the applicant. Deposit amounts are initially determined by credit scoring from a national credit agency and are shown below:
Inital Deposit Range
$0 - $200.00
No deposit is required if the applicant receives a satisfactory credit score. Deposits are refundable after eighteen (18) months of good credit history. If the Customer has account history with the Authority, that history may be used to determine the deposit amount. Deposits may be billed to existing customers who do not maintain good credit status. Maximum deposits equal to the two highest months of gas consumption may be charged if credit history warrants such a deposit.
Service Origination Fee
A non-refundable service origination fee of $25.00 is applicable.
Tap Fee
A Tap Fee of $175.00 is applicable for all new services to single-family residences.
Service Line Fees*
No charge up to 300 feet
Aid-In-Construction (AIC) of $2.00 per foot for footage exceeding 300 feet
Directional bores, if required, are quoted
* Service Line Fees associated with pool heaters or generators only - require a quote.

The due date for bill payment is 5:00 p.m. on the date shown on the statement. If payment is not received, a late charge is added.
If a bill is not paid by 5:00 p.m. on the date shown on the Service Termination Notice, the service may be terminated and a disconnect charge of $75.00 will be added to the customer’s account. If the service remains terminated for more than 60 days, a reconnection fee of $35.00 is added.
