What is a service line?
A natural gas service line is a pipe that connects the main distribution pipeline to the gas meter. The service line will have a riser pipe coming out of the ground where a meter is attached.

How can I tell if I have a service line?
Take a walk around your home. If you see a gas meter or gas piping where a meter used to be you have a service line.
